Are you experiencing pain from the past holding you back from the present? Are you afraid to "go there" - or don't know where to even start?

I want you to know: you don't have to do it alone. You are not defined by your past. In therapy, we can bravely explore difficult memories and emotions as we empower you to redefine and rewrite hard experiences, and ultimately teach you the tools to continue on with a firm new hope and meaning.
"Only when we have returned afresh to our suffering and know it in our bones will it ever promise to leave us alone."
- Alain de Botton

As we explore your unique healing journey, creating a completely safe environment with you is my number one priority. I aim to develop a nonjudgmental space where you can come in to feel heard, validated, and known. My hope is that each week, you will leave our space feeling encouraged, and yet still challenged toward growth.
I believe your brain was created with the natural tools to grow, and we get to uncover those tools together! I like to incorporate psychoeducation, scripture, and the use of humor in sessions where it feels appropriate and helpful to you. I often utilize tools such as memory recall, inner-child work, and identity exploration activities. However, the path of therapy is a journey that ebbs and flows, and we will tailor our time together for what feels best to you and your goals.
